How to Be Part of This Adventure
Excited about the prospect? Great! Only a select group of 12 young hunters will be chosen from the total applications submitted before the drawing date. To ensure your spot, be sure to submit your application by 3 p.m. on January 20, 2025. Keep in mind that each participant must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years old, making it a fantastic bonding experience for families!
Guidelines for Participation
All participants must follow State and Federal small game hunting regulations that apply to their age. It’s recommended that the accompanying adult has a solid understanding of these regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable hunting experience. The hunt is set to be a Shotgun ONLY event, so it’s important to keep that in mind while preparing to join in the fun.
What to Bring
Now, if you’re worried about what to pack, there’s no need to stress! Young hunters drawn for the event are required to bring only proper clothing. All other essentials, such as hunting dogs, weapons, and ammunition, will be provided by the organizers. Furthermore, participants will be placed in small groups and will have the guidance of an experienced hunting mentor. How cool is that?
