Visit Oxford Unveils “Christmas in June” and Holly Jolly Holidays Programming

Oxford, MS Welcome Holidays Early with Festive Extravaganza

Bringing in the holiday delight much earlier this year, Visit Oxford MS has unveiled its “Christmas in June” campaign—an exciting precursor to the fifth annual Holly Jolly Holidays. The campaign features brand-new programming, offering residents and visitors expanded ways to indulge in the holiday season.

Festivity to be Held at mTrade Park Rows with Delighted Decorations

The landmark mTrade Park will host the new Walk of Lights this winter—a magical spectacle infused with festive decorations. The “Christmas in June” campaign includes a social media giveaway offering Holly Jolly Holidays passes and accommodations at a local hotel, encouraging both residents and visitors to create holiday memories in Oxford this year.

‘Walk of Lights’ – A Shining Addition to Holly Jolly Holidays

The Walk of Lights, a new feature of this year’s Holly Jolly Holidays, is a scintillating arrangement of custom-designed illuminations that honor Oxford’s history—it includes the iconic Double Decker Bus to the mesmerizing Oxford skyline. The program will run from November 23 through January 5, ensuring that mTrade Park’s northwest fields are transformed into a veritable wonderland adorned with twinkling lights, complete with a walk-through tunnel of lights, hot chocolate, s’mores kits, cookies, and more.

Ice-Skating Rink—A Cherished Feature Aligns with Festive Fun

Oxford’s adored ice-skating rink will also be a part of the celebrations at mTrade Park this year. Providing one central location for the festivities, families can rejoice in the magic of the holidays with the Walk of Lights and ice skating—a duo destined to inspire wonderful memories.

Creating Unforgettable Experiences for Holiday Lovers

“The new Walk of Lights is the perfect addition to Holly Jolly Holidays, now in its fifth year with an even broader array of ways for creating memories with loved ones in Oxford,” said Kinney Ferris, executive director of Visit Oxford. “Oxford is a truly special place every holiday season, and we’re excited about extending our Holly Jolly Holidays this year. From the magical tunnel of lights and ice skating to the charming decorations across The Square—the festive occasions promise to be truly splendid.”

‘Christmas in June’—Paving the way for a Holiday Season to Remember

This unique ‘Christmas in June’ campaign spearheaded by Visit Oxford MS is a shining prelude to the annual Holly Jolly Holidays, aimed at amplifying the holiday experience for residents and tourists alike. With new features and programs, Visit Oxford seeks to transform this holiday season into an unforgettable memory for all its patrons.
