Oxford Community Invited to Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday

The Memorial Day celebration will be held at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Park on Veterans Drive, situated conveniently across from the Mississippi State Veterans Home. Furthermore, for those who seek a moment of respite or contemplation, a wreath will be placed before the ceremony on the north side of the Lafayette County Courthouse.
Following the ceremonial flag-raising, Col. David McElreath, a respected figure in the military community, will grace the event with his inspiring words.
