Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen Set Special Meeting for Crucial Bid

City of Oxford Holds Special Meeting

The City of Oxford, Mississippi, has announced a special Board of Aldermen meeting slated for Tuesday, May 7, 2024. This special assembly will take place in the conference room of the Oxford Utilities Building at 8:00 am. In line with the City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82, certain commission members will be part of the meeting via teleconference.

The Mayor, Robyn Tannehill, who called for this extraordinary meeting, revealed the agenda items that would be put forth. Notably, this includes a presentation on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 for the Oxford Utilities-Electric Division, a proposal submitted by Rob Neely.
