City of Oxford, Mississippi Holds Recess Meeting on Key City Initiatives

Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen Convene on Monday, March 25, 2024

In Oxford, Mississippi, the City Board of Aldermen held a recess meeting on Monday, March 25, 2024, which commenced at 1:00 p.m in the City Hall Courtroom. As a measure of inclusiveness, the meeting saw the participation of certain commission members via teleconference, in accordance with the City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82.

  3. The City Grocery parking lot project was a significant point of discussion, shedding light on infrastructural concerns.
  4. An important topic on the agenda was the discussion on the City Pool Renovation Project, outlining elements requiring attention and action plans for improvement.
  5. Reviewing and deliberating on potential towing ordinance and non-consent towing was part of the discourse.
  6. The upcoming paramedic class for the Oxford Fire Department (OFD) was also highlighted as an agenda point.
