Special Meeting of the Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen
Tuesday, July 9, 2024 – An extraordinary meeting convened by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi. The board congregated on the second floor courtroom of City Hall at 9 a.m. Mayor Robyn Tannehill led the session, with some commission members joining via teleconference, maintaining compliance with the City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82 and Section 21-3-21 of Mississippi Code of 1972 Annotated.

Downtown Regional Detention Project
A primary focus of the meeting was Change Order #1 for the Downtown Regional Detention Project, which is seen as a significant development for the community. The proposal awaited the Board’s approval and additional details were forthcoming.
Provision for Individuals with Disabilities
