These included attendance to several conferences and training events spanning 2024, setting the groundwork for professional development in various city departments. The costs for these trips were detailed and ranged from no cost to the City to an estimated maximum of $2,250.00.
Several important community and infrastructure projects took center-stage during the discussion points. These include adopting resolutions for the retirements of employees in the Development Services-Engineering Department and the Oxford Fire Department, deliberation on property development and improvement plans, bidding for essential technologies for the Oxford Police Station, and proposals for engineering projects including a multi-way stop intersection and water tank re-painting.
Wrapping up the meeting, the board highlighted an executive session and discussed reconvening for their next meeting on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
