The head of Oxford’s favorite grocery haven, Kroger’s, Latoya Sullivan, has recently been recognized as a shining beacon for women in the grocery industry. She was named a ‘Top Woman in Grocery’ by the esteemed Progressive Grocer magazine.

A Leader with 19 Years of Excellence at Kroger

With over a decade of service under Sullivan’s belt as a store manager and a total of 19 years service for Kroger’s, the recognition validates her consistent commitment to provide a fulfilling, fresh, and friendly shopping experience. Sullivan’s relentless work ethic has made her an indispensable asset to the Delta Division, positively impacting customers, the community, and the workforce.

Advancing Equity and Cutting Down Hunger

Sullivan has exhibited a fearless attitude in upholding her commitment to the community. Her commendable endeavors focus on advancing equity by diversifying the products on the shelves and seeking to eliminate hunger in the locality.

Educational Credentials Equipping Her for Success

Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix, Sullivan’s rich academic background undoubtedly contributes to her leadership skills and business acumen.

Part of the Elite Club

The recognition puts Sullivan in the company of 55 other women leaders across the entire Kroger enterprise. These women have not only earned the title of ‘Top Women in Grocery’ across various categories but also served as an inspiration to countless aspiring women in the industry.

Sullivan’s Words of Appreciation

“I want to take a moment to express my most profound appreciation to all the remarkable women who have created paths for savvy women leaders like myself in the grocery industry,” Sullivan graciously expressed her gratitude on her LinkedIn account upon receiving the honor.

An Official Recognition Ceremony to Look Forward To

For their exemplary accomplishments, Sullivan and her fellow Top Woman in Grocery honorees will be formally saluted at an awards gala. To be held in Orlando, Florida, in early November, during the Progressive Grocer’s Impact Conference, the event promises to be a grand celebration of these trailblazing women.
