During a recent meeting with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, Sybiha received reassurance of unwavering support from the European Union amidst the ongoing conflict. Borrell underscored the necessity of timely Western military support to ensure that Ukraine can defend itself against Russian aggression effectively. He called for quicker deliveries of weaponry and urged allies to consider lifting restrictions that could hinder Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.
Drone Attacks and Military Escalation

In the wake of the strike, the regional governor of Odesa reported damage to residential buildings and other properties but did not specify if Ukraine’s air defense system was responsible for intercepting the drone.
