The Big Bad Breakfast at 719 North Lamar Blvd., famous for their southern breakfast specialties, followed, serving the early risers from 8 am until 2:30 pm.

Lunchtime drew crowds to places like Ajax Diner (118 Courthouse Sq.) known for their hearty meals, served from 11 am to 9 pm. At the same time, The Library at 120 South 11th St., offered a happy hour from 3 to 7 pm, with $1 off all drinks enticing locals and visitors alike.
