Oxford – Oxford banker, Marshall Fratesi, has been elected to the Highflying Executive Council of Mississippi Young Bankers (MYB), a segment of the influential Mississippi Bankers Association (MBA).

Membership in the MYB reflects not just career growth in the financial industry but also a dedication to community service. The MYB counts among its key functions the administration of scholarship programs for deserving high school and college students, support of the MBA Education Foundation, and advocacy of policy positions crucial for a robust banking industry.

Marshall Fratesi’s Banking Journey

Marshall Fratesi, an esteemed figure in the Oxford banking circle, serves as the city president for the Bank of Oxford. This office is a footstep of the First National Bank of Clarksdale, where his professional contribution extends for over twelve years. He is no stranger to the MYB. Fratesi has been an active member of this organization since 2016.

Educational Background and Achievements

Fratesi’s impressive education credentials include a degree in accounting from Delta State University and an MBA from the prestigious University of Mississippi. He has demonstrated his commitment to a career in banking and finance by graduating from the Mississippi School of Banking and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

Community Engagement

Apart from his illustrious banking career, Fratesi has set a strong example of civic engagement. He serves as a fraternity advisor for Kappa Alpha Order at Ole Miss. Fratesi was also proudly a part of the Leadership Lafayette Class in 2014.

Family

Fratesi, or “Marshall,” as he is popularly known among friends and colleagues, is married to Abbey. Together, they have recently welcomed their son, Russ, to the family fold, marking a joyous milestone in their life.
