Lafayette County Records Large-scale Property Transfers
Property Transfers Commenced between June 3-7, 2024
In a rather busy week, numerous property transfers were recorded in the Lafayette County Chancery Clerk’s office. Property shifting was noted among various local businesses, homeowners and real estate companies, providing a vibrant picture of the real estate landscape in the area.
One of the first transfers was by Anderson Road Holdings, LLC. They ceded possession of Unit 32, Meadow Crest Condominiums to Charles Dukes and his parties. Additional turnover involved Elizabeth Breeland passing the ownership of Unit 362, Turnberry Condominiums onto Jacob Smith.
Significant Individuals and Businesses on the Move
Several notable names made significant property transfers, including Judson and Marissa Watson, who officially transferred Unit 34 of Old Oaks of Oxford Condominiums to Rachael Flowers. Monte Wood handed over Lot 30, Avent Acres Subdivision to Joshua and Mary White.
In a substantial transfer, Baker Martin relinquished a large portion of Sections 1 and 2, Township 9 South, Range 3 West to Molly Martin. Not to be left behind, Lori Applebaum turned over the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 9 South, Range 2 West to Justin Hudson.

Interestingly, local businesses also moved properties. Anderson Road Holdings, LLC transferred ownership of Unit 13, Meadow Crest to Timothy and Stephanie Mullins, signaling a shift in the commercial property sphere. The company also handed over Unit 14, Meadow Crest to Tyler and Amy Bennett.
Other businesses in the mix included North Lamar Construction, LLC which transferred property twice. It first transferred Lot 23 of The Lamar Subdivision to William and Elizabeth Sanders and later transferred Unit 27, The Lamar Subdivision to Robert and Michelle Alexander.
