Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Master Gardener Help Line is open for all your gardening queries. So, if you’re unsure about what’s happening to that plant in your garden, reach out and let the experts point you in the right direction!

Plan Ahead for the Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

Mark your calendars for February 7, 2025, because that’s the day when the green-loving community comes together for the Arbor Day Tree Giveaway at the Arena located at 70 F.D. Buddy East Pkwy. Starting at 8 a.m., you’ll have the chance to take home some beautiful tree and vine varieties including:

Oxford Community Garden Meeting

If you’ve been dreaming of cultivating your own veggies or flowers, the Oxford Community Garden meeting on February 24, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Stone Center (right across from the Oxford Pool) is the place to be! This meeting is all about reserving your garden plots. The prices are as follows:

  • 4’x8’ plots for $25
  • 8’x10’/11’ plots for $35
  • 10’x16’ plots for $45
  • 16’x16’ plots for $50

Payments can be easily made with cash or check, so you can get started on turning that plot into a vibrant garden.

Join the Magnolia Bee Club

The Magnolia Bee Club, formerly known as the Lafayette County Bee Club, is buzzing with excitement for its next meeting on February 25, 2025, at 6 p.m. This is a great chance to learn more about beekeeping and to network with fellow bee enthusiasts.
