Bid for the Final Phase of West Oxford Loop Extension Approved

In a momentous development, the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors, during its regular meeting, approved a bid for the final phase of the West Oxford Loop Extended on Monday morning. Six different companies submitted their bids for the project, ranging from $7.8 million to $8.5 million. However, as per the law, the county must select the ‘lowest and best’ bid among them. In this particular case, this accolade belonged to STE-BIL Grading from Waterford, whose proposal came with a promising tag of $7.8 million. Unfortunately, two of the six submitted bids had to be rejected due to their incompleteness.
