Get Ready for the “Countdown to Christmas” Blood Drive in Flowood!

Hey there, Flowood friends! The joyous season of giving is upon us, and here’s a fantastic way for you to spread a little holiday cheer while making a big difference in your community. Starting from Thursday, December 12, all the way through Tuesday, December 24, Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is hosting their annual “Countdown to Christmas” Holiday Blood Drive! Isn’t that exciting?

When and Where to Donate

This wonderful opportunity is taking place at several convenient locations, so you have plenty of chances to roll up your sleeve and contribute. Donors can visit:

  • Flowood Center: 115 Tree Street, Flowood, MS
  • Cleveland Center: 609 North Davis, Suite 101B, Cleveland, MS
  • Oxford Center: 2627 West Oxford, Oxford, MS

How about that? You can choose the location that works best for you, whether you’re in Flowood, Cleveland, or Oxford. No excuses, right?

What’s in it for You?

Now, here’s where things get even more festive! Every blood donor during this drive will receive an exclusive limited-edition holiday long sleeve T-shirt to show off your generous spirit, courtesy of our friends at PriorityOne Bank. It’s not just about giving blood; it’s about celebrating the season of sharing too!

Important Donation Tips

Before you head out to donate, here are some important tips to keep in mind:

  • Make sure to bring a valid ID. It’s needed for verification.
  • Eat a balanced meal at least four hours before donating. This helps ensure a successful donation and reduces the chance of any reactions afterward.
  • Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of fluids before and after you donate to keep your body happy and healthy.

Spread the Word!

Let’s make this holiday blood drive a huge success! Share this news with friends, family, and coworkers. Imagine the power of our community coming together during this special time of year. Your one hour can save lives, and what better gift can you give this Christmas than the gift of life?

No need to wait until the new year to start making a difference – let’s come together and make these days leading up to Christmas count. Every drop of blood can help save a life, and every donation counts!

See You There!

So mark your calendars and get ready to give the gift that truly keeps on giving! Join Mississippi Blood Services for the “Countdown to Christmas” Holiday Blood Drive and make this season a little brighter for those in need. We can’t wait to see you in Flowood, Cleveland, or Oxford!

Happy Holidays and happy donating!
