New Chick-fil-A Location Opening in Oxford with Community Initiatives and Extended Operating Hours

New Chick-fil-A Opens in Oxford

Oxford, MS – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open in Oxford this Tuesday, bringing excitement to the local community. The restaurant, located at 800 Sisk Ave., is the second location owned by local entrepreneur Lance Reed.

Operating Hours and Features

Chick-fil-A East Oxford will open its doors from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in and carry-out, Monday through Saturday. The drive-thru will operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing extended hours for customers on the go. The new location will also feature Mobile Thru, a special drive-thru lane for guests who order through the Chick-fil-A app, allowing for quick pickup.

A Local Legacy

Lance Reed, along with his wife Amanda, has spent years serving in a ministry focused on charitable work before transitioning to entrepreneurship. After 15 years operating the Chick-fil-A on West Jackson Avenue, he expressed excitement about expanding his impact in the community.

“Having the opportunity to bring the first Chick-fil-A to this community has been nothing short of a gift,” Reed shared. He noted that the relationships he has built over the years have been meaningful and impactful. His commitment to the community remains strong as he opens the second location.

Community Initiatives

With the opening of Chick-fil-A East Oxford, Reed has plans to continue community-focused events, such as the beloved Princess Ball, which brings together fathers and daughters for a special night of memories.

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America, aimed at fighting hunger in the greater Memphis area. Additionally, the new location is set to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redistributes surplus food to local food banks, shelters, and other nonprofits. This program has contributed to the creation of over 25 million meals across over 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants in North America.

Honoring Local Heroes

To honor the hard work of local heroes in Oxford, the new Chick-fil-A will recognize 100 individuals making a difference in the community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year. This initiative serves as a reminder of the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community it serves.
