‘Adam the First’ to Open 21st Oxford Film Festival
Oxford Announces Festival Headliner
Oxford, Mississippi – The Oxford Film Festival has made an exciting announcement about the opening film for its 21st installment. The renowned film festival, scheduled to take place from March 21st to 24th, has revealed that “Adam the First,” is set to be the open screening movie for this year’s event.
With a rich selection of 120 narrative and documentary features and shorts, the festival also includes innovative experimental films and fresh music videos. Film production panels featuring industry veterans will provide keen insight into the world of filmmaking.
Every day of the festival will conclude with a festive party at the popular Powerhouse Community Arts Center.
The Opening Night Film – ‘Adam the First’
The much-anticipated “Adam the First” which was filmed right here in Mississippi, has accrued quite a buzz. Its renowned director, Irving Franco, will be in attendance along with its stellar cast that includes David Duchovny, Oakes Fegley, and T.R. Knight.
The film will commence at 7:30 p.m. at the Gertrude Ford Arts Center, with the traditional red carpet festivities kicking off around 5:45 p.m. Prior to the film screening, there’ll be a live recording session of Thacker Mountain Radio at the Ford Theater, and a VIP meet-and-greet with Andrew McCarthy.
The opening night will conclude with a grand party at OPA!, a popular local venue, from 9:45 p.m. until midnight.
